TESDA Successfully Launches the Skills Passport Mobile Application | February 5, 2026

Under the leadership of TESDA Secretary Kiko Benitez, the TESDA Skills Passport Mobile Application was officially launched to the public on February 5, 2026, marking a major milestone in TESDA’s digital transformation initiatives for technical-vocational education and workforce development.
The event was graced by no less than President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr., who reaffirmed the government’s strong support for education in the Philippines, including the continued strengthening of skills development through TESDA. The President also emphasized the importance of protecting personal data, assuring stakeholders that information stored in the Skills Passport is secure and handled with appropriate safeguards.
In support of this initiative, the National TVET Schools Association of the Philippines (NTSAP) was represented at the launch by its officers under the leadership of its President and Chairman of the Board, Dr. Mary Grace Rosalia N. Gulan. Present also on behalf of the association were Mr. Pete Trumata, Vice President / Assistant Chairman of the Board; Mr. Emerson Atanacio, Chairperson and Board Member for South Luzon; Mr. Arrish Altavano, Treasurer; Ms. Jheng Miranda, Corporate Secretary; Ms. Grace Tejada, Assistant Secretary; Ms. Carmencita D. Uy, Assistant Treasurer; and the NTSAP Board of Directors—Dr. Cervin Colasito, Dr. Dennis Solis, Dr. Danilo Ayap, and Engr. Marjorie Mendenilla—together with Adviser Mr. Honoracio Montefrio, alongside other stakeholders from the TVET sector.
With the full support of its officers and TVI members nationwide, NTSAP commits to actively support the TESDA Skills Passport by promoting its use across TVIs and sharing the platform with graduates to help them securely present their competencies, meet industry standards, and connect more efficiently with employment opportunities.
